Our approach to making Interconnect cables

By offering interconnect cables, we want to give customers the opportunity to harmonize the level of amplifiers and accompanying equipment. A bad cable at the input of the amplifier always means bad sound. We offer cables that are in the range of amplifiers because we do not want to disappoint our customers.

Thanks to professional engagement in the field of cable production Development and Research (fks.co.rs) (FKS Yugoslavia) I became familiar with the importance of using appropriate cables in audio systems very early on.

During the construction of the cables, we do everything to ensure that they are flawless in the transmission of audio signals, because that is their main purpose. We strive to maximize this characteristic of our cables.

We start from the idea that the construction of flexible cables ensures that they can be connected to devices as easily as possible.

We do not deal with the story of cable manufacturing technology because it has been around for a very long time and is well known to true experts in this field.

The basic determinants of the quality of interconnect cables are:

• material quality (high percentage of purity of copper and silver)
• the insulator must have a good dielectric constant and be ideally applied to the conductor
• technologically optimized production process of a thin conductor with minimal heating, in order to preserve its greatest rigidity without external deformations of the conductor surface. This process must be carried out in a space with minimal humidity and with as little exposure to atmospheric air as possible until the moment of insulation of the conductor.
• the process of applying silver to a copper conductor must be done with the shortest possible heating and an effort to keep the conductor as rigid as possible and the applied layer of silver to be of uniform thickness with an ideal surface. The verification of the quality of the surface and the rigidity of the conductor is done very carefully according to very strict criteria.

The basis of the construction of our cables is a silver-plated copper conductor insulated with Teflon.

The way the conductor is constructed, the hardness and the type of Teflon insulation determine the definitive quality of the sound transmitted through the cables.

A lot of things have to be tweaked empirically to get a quality and respectable interconnect cable.
